Identification: Straight threads. Both male and female have a 37º seat.
Seal: The seal is made on the 37º flare seat. The threads hold the connection mechanically. Only connect male SAE 37 with female SAE 37.
Application: SAE specifies use with high-pressure hydraulic tubing.
